Spraoi play music from the west of Ireland and beyond, jigs and reels coupled with Scandinavian waltzes, Canadian breakdowns and dros from Brittany. The combination of the uilleann pipes with fiddle and accordion, guitar, bouzoukis and keyboards make for a classic big band sound but with a cool laid back flavour.
We're making plans for our fist full length CD in the Autumn of 2009.
